Founder & Lead Instructor
T.J. Miller
T.J. started his martial arts training in the 6th grade. After studying various styles including kung fu, tae kwon do, kempo and aikido, he found his way to Jeet Kune Do in his senior year of high school which awoke him from his dogmatic slumber.
In college at Rutgers University he started Combined Forces Street Survival with his friends Kurt Morella and Jason Hoare. He has been teaching martial arts in some capacity ever since.

Founder & Instructor
Paul Cybularz
Paul Cybularz is a black belt instructor at The Ludus. He has trained martial arts for over 14 years and has taught for over six. His interest in martial arts has been with him 'ever since he can remember.' He has studied Pai Lum Kung Fu, Capoeira, and Jiu-jitsu; however, he found Jeet Kune Do and TJ's blended approach to be most practical. He has extensive experience teaching with TJ throughout Bordentown/Cherry Hill/Mount Holly, New Jersey. While living in Florida, he ran a martial arts program for autistic children at the GAP School and taught private classes.
Paul is also a licensed practitioner of Oriental Medicine with a bachelors degree in Nutrition and Food Science. Combining his knowledge of medicine, fitness, and nutrition, Paul 's classes create a foundation upon which students develop resilience for training longevity. ​

Emy Rothenberger
Emy has been training in various martial arts since college. She started with Judo and then did Tae Kwon Do (both ITF and WTF) before starting to train under TJ Miller in Jeet Kune Do Concepts and Filipino Martial Arts. She has been training with TJ for over a decade. Two years ago she also started training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. She has been helping with instruction for kids classes with TJ for many years and really enjoys working with the younger students.

Shelli Nock
Shelli “Buttons” Nock (aka The Empress of Awesome) is a professional aerialist and instructor with over 17 years of experience. Her training started at the University of South Florida and progressed throughout the U.S. and Canada. She's trained with notable aerialists including the Serenity Twins from Cirque Du Soleil, Allison Williams (founder Aerial Angels), and Capital City Circus. She was also invited to compete for a Guiness Book of World Records event in China.
Shelli has taught aerial instruction at Trapeze School New York and the New Jersey Circus School. She has also taught gymnastics for over 20 years, specializing in early motor skill development and body movement.

Shelli has been teaching at the Ludus for two years and is a Blue Belt Instructor.

Warrior Fitness Instructor
Jon Haas
Jon is the founder of Warrior Fitness Training Systems, as well as a certified Underground Strength Coach-Level 2, 9th dan Black belt in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, and a certified Personal Trainer and FMS.
He has spent over 30 years – a lifetime – training, studying and working with the best in the areas of martial arts and strength and conditioning to figure out how to reverse engineer the ultimate in human performance for martial art, combat sport, and living a powerful, healthy warrior lifestyle. “The goal of my teaching has always been to help as many people as possible reveal their full capacity as human beings while living a strong, happy, and pain-free life.”
Back in 2008 Jon wrote the book, Warrior Fitness: Conditioning for Martial Arts. It was a huge hit and helped martial artists across the globe upgrade their health, strength, and performance for martial arts. But he wasn’t satisfied with it…

John A Williams
John A Williams is a sword fighting partner of TJ Miller in the Lords of Adventure sword fighting show. The two of them created the show in 2010 and have traveled the country spreading the joy of adventure and positivity from Louisiana to Maine. ​
